Stories you can step into.
Astrid Lindgren understood something children know instinctively: a story is never just a story. It is a place you can enter, a character you can become, and a world that can keep growing long after the last page.
In this workshop, children explore how stories are built from more than words. A character can begin with a gesture. A place can begin with one object. A whole world can grow from a strange rule, a secret, a friendship or a small act of courage.
Children are invited to think like storytellers, designers and world-builders — imagining not only who lives in their story, but what surrounds them, what matters to them and what makes their world different from anyone else’s.
The goal is not to retell Astrid Lindgren’s stories. It is to understand the freedom, humor, independence and emotional intelligence behind them — and use that spirit to invent a world of their own.
