A sculptural workshop where children transform forgotten materials into bold personal ideas — developing over time into something powerful, unexpected and entirely their own.
In this workshop, children turn discarded materials into bold sculptural ideas. Bottles, cans, cardboard, fabric and forgotten objects become the starting point for something entirely new — a creature, a vehicle, a monument, a dream, or a form that has never existed before.
Invent the Future is about learning to see possibility where others see waste. It invites children to imagine on a larger scale, think in three dimensions, and build with courage, curiosity and originality. Instead of following one fixed outcome, each child develops a personal visual world and gradually shapes it into a sculptural project of their own.
Within the full 10-workshop journey, this becomes an ongoing piece that grows over time. Children return to it, add to it, transform it and refine it across sessions — turning recycled materials into something powerful, unexpected and deeply personal.
The result is not only an artwork, but a way of thinking: inventive, independent, resourceful and fearless. Here, upcycling becomes imagination in action — and the future begins by making something new out of what already exists.
Personal project
